With tears in our eyes and pain in our hearts...the time nears when we need to bid this blessed month of Ramadaan farewell.
Isn't it shocking to know that it was just like yesterday that we awaited this beautiful month and before we know it, it's passing us by?
Remember the preparation that was done for this month?
- The savouries and dates.
- The haleem and healthy Suhoor menus.
- The different iftaar menus and the excitement of taraweeh.
Even I'tikaaf began and is coming to a close. May Allah accept the i'tikaaf of those that sat therein. Aameen.
May Allah accept our every duaa and ibaadah that we have made this month. Aameen.
May Allah accept the amazing journey and duaas of Moulanas and Huffaaz as they lead the men in taraweeh. (And some Haafiza's who lead their womenfolk in taraweeh). Aameen.
May Allah accept our every Roza that we kept. Aameen.
May Allah keep us all on the siraatul mustaqeem (straight path). Aameen.
May Allah grant all those that passed away Jannatul Firdaus. Aameen.
May Allah grant all the families of the deceased sabrun jameelun and raise their status as well. Aameen.
May Allah forgive us for our minor and major sins, hidden and apparent. Aameen.
May Allah grant the whole ummah hidaayat. Aameen.
In the closing days of this blessed month, we ask Allah to protect us, our spouses, our children and family members from the fitnah of this world. Aameen thumma aameen.
Subhaana rabbika rabbil izzati amma yasifoon... wa salaamun alal mursaleen... walhumdu lillahi rabbil aalameen.
